I am an Australian born, AuDHD performer and theatre creative living in Brighton, England.
My current project is a talk about Medusa, the much-maligned figure from Ancient Greek myth, cursed to become a gorgon following her violation by the sea god Poseidon.
This talk distills the research I’ve done so far, called Medusa - Ancient Monster, Modern Defender.
Previous to this I have presented Elizabeth Bathory: Vampire Queen? - a talk detailing the history and pop culture legacy of this real Hungarian Countess.
I’ve also presented Over Sea and Under Stone: The Hidden Histories of Folktales, with Adrian Jameson, and am part of the team behind the ongoing joy that is Lava Elastic, The UK's first openly neurodivergent Comedy, Poetry and Performance evening hosted and conceived of by fellow AuDHD performer, Sarah Saeed.
For Lava Elastic I work as Stage Manager and Team Lava support member.
For the past 10 years I have worked as the Assistant Venue Manager for Sweet Venues in Brighton, managing the day-to-day activities for Sweet @ The Yellow Book, part of the year-round activities of the vibrant Brighton independent theatre scene.
I am currently on sabbatical, pursuing my creative endeavours with Medusa...
